Everyone with thinning hair can use it very quickly due to its powdery texture, which makes it easy to apply to the scalp and wash off when washing. Xfusion Hair Fibers will last longer when used for normal activities than when you are at the gym, because the fibers can wear off when exposed to rain or excessive sweating.

As the name implies, the main ingredient of Xfusion is Keratin, the essential protein that makes up your hair, nails, and skin epidermis. Mainly due to their similar nature, Keratin Fiber can fill in the gaps in your thin hair or bald area instantly. Xfusion also contains ammonium chloride in its ingredients. This is a concern for those of you who have dry or sensitive skin because the side effect is symptoms of itching and dryness on your scalp. It’s best to do a skin test before applying Xfusion Hair Fibers to ensure that it’s completely safe and gets the best results as you expect.

The ingredients are also similar to Xfusion, made from Keratin which is the main source of your hair. It also allows the fibers to blend naturally with your hair so that it is not easily detected that you are using hair fibers. However, the ammonium chloride ingredient can cause irritation and itching, especially if you have dry or sensitive skin/scalp. It’s best to do a skin test first to see if the product is right for you. If side effects start to appear, you should reduce the frequency of use or better stop using it.

Even though it is said to be sweat, wind and rain resistant, most users say that it is better to use Toppik Hair Building Fibers for normal activities, rather than during sports or other strenuous activities. How to Apply XFusion and Toppik Hair Building Fibers

Xfusion and Toppik Fiber Hair is used to fill in wide parts, thinning hair at the crown or temples, and enhance uneven hairlines. For men this is also able to fill the thin area in the uneven beard. Keep in mind, Hair Fibers are not suitable for completely bald people. Here’s how you can use Hair Fibers in three simple steps:

  1. Apply the Hair Fiber liberally to the thinning areas of your scalp. Better use on clean, dry hair before using any styling products, such as Hair Spray.
  2. Gently pat to distribute the fibers throughout thinning hair. If it’s your first time using it and you’re not very good at it, it may take longer to even out the product.
  3. For application to the hairline or temples, it’s better to use Toppik Spray Applicator or Xfusion Hairline Optimizer so that the results are really directed and look natural. Spray within 6 inches of 3-4 bursts.

Then, you can comb or style your hair as usual. To apply Hair Fibers sometimes requires a bit of skill to really cover the intended area, especially if you’re using it for the first time.

XFusion vs Toppik: How are They Similar, and How are They Different?

Xfusion and Toppik are instant and affordable solutions for thinning hair, especially if you don’t want to spend thousands of dollars on laser surgery. Both also share some of the same features considering they come from the same manufacturer.

  • Ingredients: Xfusion and Toppik use Keratin as the main ingredient in their products. Both also contain Ammonium Chloride, sometimes it causes side effects for people with dry and sensitive skin. So this should be better used for those with normal or oily skin.
  • Shades: Both come in 9 shades. To suit your hair color even more, mix two or more shades to get a custom color.
  • Endurance: Xfusion and Toppik claim that their hair fibers are sweat and water resistant. However, most real-life users suggest that it is better to wear it under normal conditions than during strenuous activities, such as sports.

However, Xfusion and Toppik also have some fundamental differences. The main thing is that Xfusion has a tiny fiber texture whereas Toppik is more of a powdery texture than fibers. In terms of size, Toppik is also available in Giant size (55 g), so it will be more economical for those who use it every day rather than buying Regular or Economy sizes. When it comes to pricing, for Economy and Regular sizes, Toppik is slightly more expensive than Xfusion, but for Travel sizes, Toppik is more affordable.

  1. I see a confusing contradiction at the end of your article.
The last pair of pictures have the following captions: “Toppik’s Powdery Texture” and “XFusion’s Tiny Fibers”…

But the paragraph just before them says the following:

“However, Xfusion and Toppik also have some fundamental differences. The main thing is that Xfusion has a powdery texture, while Toppik has a tiny fiber texture.”

So which is powdery and which has fibers?
